I’m shutting this website down

For no reason other than it’s just become a toy that sits in the corner of my bedroom that goes unplayed with…like my 1988 kids’ panasonic video camera…or the time I decided I wanted to to learn to play the Jaw Harp.

I kinda hate looking at something that always looks like it’s half done and barely paid attention to. That ain’t me and it ain’t a reflection of how I do stuff.

So it’s time…

I’m not sad. You’re not sad. The six people who read my nonsense aren’t sad. But I wanted to say something because you guys have always been so cool about it. So thanks for being cool about it.

This also probably means you won’t see formal lists and the like from me at the end of the year. I’m old. There’s so much stuff out there. It’s hard to keep up with all of it. What you absolutely WILL continue to see is my recommendations and commentary on stuff that will still continue on whatever social media platforms survive the inevitable AI Apocalypse. So that should be fun.

So in summary, the king (my website) is dead. Long live the king (other websites that are good and stuff). Thank you guys for indulging me. And who knows, maybe the extra time will finally get me to sit down and watch The Wire.
